WCAG 2.2 accessibility audits

Find what's locking disabled users out of your site, before they find it for you.

An independent audit of your modals, forms, navigation and gated content, written up as a clear, prioritised report your own developers can act on straight away.

Request an audit See what's covered

Try it: Ignore your mouse and tab through this page. Every link and field has a visible focus outline, the heading order is real, and nothing here relies on colour alone to make its point, because that's exactly what gets checked in an audit.

Legal exposure

The Equality Act doesn't name WCAG, but courts and regulators do, they increasingly treat it as the benchmark for "reasonable adjustments." An audit turns that exposure into a documented, prioritised fix list, not a guess you're hoping never gets tested in court.

Customers you're losing right now

Screen reader users hit a dead link with no name. Keyboard-only users tab into invisible content and give up. Someone zoomed in for low vision can't find the nav. None of them complain They just leave, silently, and you never see it in your analytics as anything other than a bounce.

Findings, not a retainer

You get a clear, evidenced report your existing developers can action directly. What's broken, why it fails, and how to fix it. No dependency on us, no ongoing contract required.

Scope of work

What a Clearsight audit actually checks

Every audit is manual, tested against WCAG 2.2 AA, and covers the interactions automated scanners routinely miss. No vague 'mostly compliant' or partial pass. You get a full audit report with a clear result against the standard for every page tested, plus a prioritised remediation plan your developers can act on directly.

We test to Level WCAG 2.2 AA the benchmark used by UK public sector regulations and the standard courts reference under the Equality Act. AAA exists but is rarely achievable or required site-wide; if it's relevant to your project, we'll flag it separately.

How this is different

Audit-only, on purpose

Some accessibility firms sell an audit as the opening move in a longer remediation contract. Clearsight doesn't build or fix anything the audit is the whole engagement, so the findings are the only thing being sold.

  • You keep your developers Your team implements the fixes — nobody else needs to touch your codebase.
  • No conflict of interest Findings aren't shaped by an incentive to sell you a bigger fix.
  • A retest, not a retainer Once fixes are live, a paid retest confirms what changed, no ongoing contract required.
