Who we are

Clearsight Access, registered office: 19 Stream Terrace Stockport ("we", "us") provides web accessibility audits. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

When you use the contact form on this site, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your website URL
  • Any additional notes you choose to include

If you go on to become a client, we collect further information manually during the engagement, such as login details for gated content you ask us to test, and correspondence related to the audit.

How we use it

We use this information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
  • Deliver the audit you've engaged us for
  • Keep records required for accounting and tax purposes

We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and respond to enquiries:

  • Formspree processes contact form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions aren't automated (spam protection). It does not track you for advertising purposes.
  • Google Search Console tells us how the site performs in search results. It does not identify individual visitors to us.
  • IONOS hosts our business email.

We don't use analytics or advertising cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, or for the duration of any resulting engagement. Client and financial records are kept for 6 years, in line with UK accounting and tax requirements. After that, data is deleted securely.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data, where we're not required to keep it
  • Provide a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@clearsightaccess.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data hasn't been handled correctly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
